SPJ/LA takes on ethics

SPJ/LA Presents Ethics in the Digital Age

The Greater L.A. Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists invites you to join us on Wednesday, April 23, for an in-depth panel discussion on how reporters can ethically make use of the Internet in their research and reporting – How can reporters authenticate Internet sources? When is it appropriate to interview subjects via e-mail? When is it ethical for broadcast outlets to use material from YouTube, Facebook and MySpace?Attorney Terry Francke of Californians Aware will be among the featured panelists.
